Veil sos

So I originally bought a veil when I bought my dress, but I pulled it out again and realized that it wasn't what I wanted at all. The lace was brown rather than ivory, maybe champagne, and the sequins were falling off. Needless to say, I went looking.

Some ladies on here have commented about JJHouse, so I ended up purchasing this one: https://www.jjshouse.com/Two-Tier-Lace-Applique-Edge-Cathedral-Bridal-Veils-With-Lace-006163739-g163739/color__pink#/. I love the uniqueness and the appliques and the length...or so I thought. It got here today, and while it is beyond GORGEOUS...its bigger than me.

I don't think I can swing a full cathedral veil, but I am in LOVE with this veil. I'm not sure what my options would be other than taking it to a seamstress to see if I can get it shortened. But I'm not THAT tall...and I don't want to lose some of the detail behind me. It would be perfect chapel or floor length.

Does anyone have a good custom veil maker who might be able to imitate this veil? Or do you guys think its worth it to try and shorten this one? I'm kind of devastated and wish I knew what to do!

I would reach out to Blanca Veils on Etsy. She does custom veils and may be able to help.
