Veil regret!

Yet another post from me (as my wedding approaches let’s see how many more discussions I can start!)
I had a really, really hard time choosing a veil. I eventually just picked one at random on Etsy because I just couldn’t make a decision and it seemed to have a little of everything that I want. I tried it on yesterday and it’s… really heavy. It’s a 137” two-tier veil with embroidery at the edge (just at the end. It doesn’t go all the way around). I didn’t really want a long veil but I thought it would look best with my plain mikado royal train.
I’m thinking about ordering a cheap fingertip off of Amazon and selling the other one. Has anyone sold their veils before? It was like $200 so I don’t want to just not wear it. And it is so beautiful. I love the look of it but the length feels unwieldy and I’m worried the weight of it will make my hairdo come undone.
My questions: has anyone sold a veil? Did anyone have a ridiculously long/heavy veil and did it mess up your hair? Pros and cons of using it?
