Veil Placement?

I finally decided on a wedding hairstyle . I hadn't to this point found anything that suited my taste & personality. Only thing is I want to show it off, but also I am not skipping or changing my veil (too late & too much $$$ invested in the veil)

First pic is the veil I have (I don't have any of my own pics of the full veil)

& the next pictures are f the hairstyle I want to go with.

My Question is:

Would you put the veil on the crown of my head on nestle it in where the other hair piece is in the picture? (also there won't be any actual hair pieces other then the veil)

How long is the veil?

Personally, I'm not a fan of the veil right on top of the head and like it around where the lower arrow on the far left photo of the hairstyle

It's fingertip Length. I only tried it on once (it was on the very crown of my head that time, but my hair was just down.) I was thinking I liked it about where the hair piece is in the hair picture, but I was worried b/c it has that thick lace trim all the way around the veil (minus 2" clip about). I'm probably going to have to try it out & see what looks right, but I wont be doing any hair trials for a few weeks still probably.

I would put it on the back - where the hair piece is (I know you won't be using one) but that's where I would put my veil.

I asked my hair stylist, and I think you might want to do the same in case the veil would flatten the bun or ruin the braid. Personally, for those lace-trimmed veils, I think they look best at the crown, then taken off before the reception entrance.

Although the first picture is lovely, I'm really not a fan of veils right on the top of people's heads! I think it would nicer lower down.

At the crown for the ceremony and remove it for the reception to show off that hair.
