Veil or no veil?

I thought I didn't want to, but the more I think about it, the more I think I will buy and wear one. My wedding dress just came in, I'm going to try it on in a week and try on some veils then. I just love how they look in pictures!

Yes! I got a waist length veil which is amazing since I HATE the zip enclosure on the back of my dress (when it pulls wrong, its really obvious). My veil has a custom navy blue trim along the bottom and I am adding some navy ribbon to the top so it will also make my super simple bun look much better.

Yes, I will end up getting a fingertip length veil. I just feel more like a bride with a veil on.

Yes, I'm going to wear a plain ivory cathedral veil. I originally bought a fingertip length, but decided to go for the cathedral -- it's what I always wanted but was unsure how a cathedral went with my dress. It looks gorgeous though! My seamstress is adding a bustle to it so i can wear it for our first dance. Then, I'll take it off to party!

I wasn't thinking of having a veil originally but this weekend I got the idea to see if my mom's veil would work with my dress. I want to incorporate something of hers into my outfit for the day and I think should would love it. I hope it matches.

I went back and forth but ended up loving my fingertip veil and I really felt like a bride in it. I didn't have the option for my first wedding so I did all the things I felt I missed out on and never regretted any of it.

I'll be wearing a veil because it's the only day of my life I'll be allowed to unless you count sympathy veils when people die (and those aren't white).

I thought about ditching it, but I remembered this would be the only real reason for me to wear one in my life! For me, it brings my wedding day look together

I have never cared for veils, so I'm opting to do a cape (made of veil material). It's custom-made, chapel length with a light blue ombre at the bottom, and embedded with silver stars

Plus I don't want to hide the rose gold ombre hair I'll be rocking.

Yes i am!! i wasn't sure i wanted one. the lady at the bridal shoppe was giving me some to try on and i wasn't a fan ... then my grandma chose one and put it on and it was perfect. the lady gave me the store bouquet and i teared up.
