Veil or no veil

Veil or no veil 1
Veil or no veil 2I'm trying to decide whether I should wear a veil or not with my dress. The back is my favorite part of the dress, so I didn't want to cover it up, but I also love the look of a veil. Opinions are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It all depends on how much you want a veil or not. I would suggest if you go with a veil just a sheer one where you can show off the back. Also, you could take the veil off for the ceremony and show the back. Smiley smile

Wear a veil for the ceremony and show off the open back at the reception.

I really like Caytlyn's suggestion! This way you can still wear a veil if you want to and show off the back of the dress

If you like the idea of a veil I would go for a sheer veil and then take it off for the reveal everyone can see the back of your dress.

Veil! There are very sheer ones out there that will allow your dress to be seen even with it on.

Veil ArtsyVeil or no veil 3

I got some really solid advice that the veil is what makes it "feel" like a wedding dress and not just a nice gown. The back is awesome, but when you're walking the veil will be pulled out behind you so you'll still be able to see it. Most veils are sheer so you can see through them. The veil will also give your photographer more to work with when it comes to artsy, staged photos. Once those are done you can take it off!

    Completely up to you though!

Veil. Always team veil! Get a plain raw edge one. Gorgeous.

I mean unless you are getting a veil made out of satin or some other opaque material, your dress will still be visible under the veil. Ultimately it is up to you, but I think a veil would look pretty with that dress.

I'm personally not a fan of veils so I would try other options out there too though before you really make a choice.

A Veil would look really good with your dress. Maybe try on a fingertip veil.

I had the same thought because I love the back of my dress, but I just got a very sheer flowy veil so you can still see the back. Also you will only be wearing it for pictures and ceremony so you’ll get to show off the back during reception l!

I agree with everyone else, wear the veil for the ceremony and then take it off for the reception. You only get to wear a veil on your wedding day! You should rock it!

Wear one for the ceremony and then take it off for the reception! If you aren't sold on a veil you could always try playing with flower crowns or some other hair embellishment. Personally I opted out of a veil and will have a braided crown with flowers throughout. 😊

Do a pretty birdcage veil that way you feel bridal but you don’t cover the cute back
