I can't decide if I want a veil or not! I'd love some opinions ladies... yes/no , length, style ,etc. Thanks so much! 😊

I'm torn on this. I think a cathedral would look gorgeous with the dress, but the back is also really pretty. Maybe cathedral for ceremony and no veil for reception

I’d go with a one layer shoulder or elbow length veil. That way you can still see the dress and it’s not taking away from the train on the dress

I think it would look great either way! What is your wedding feel/venue like? I think yes if in a church and more traditional, if something more casual then I say no veil !

Having a veil would definitely make everything more "bridal". I'm all for veils, but it depends on your preference. With this dress, I would choose a simpler veil, no longer than elbow length so you don't take away from that beautiful train!

Team veil. For this dress, a shorter veil. No longer than fingertip.

Okay so gorgeous dress. Dayumm. My advice is to wear a veil for just the ceremony. When in your life are you going to get to wear a veil ever again? It's just 15-20 minutes and then you can rock the dress the rest of the night without. That is my personal reason for wearing the veil at my wedding next month Smiley smile you could do a fingertip if you don't want to cover the train with a cathedral

I’m all for veils! I know people are deviating from them more recently, but I am more of a traditionalist - when it comes to the veil at least lol. Anyway I don’t have a dress yet, but I am wanting a super long cathedral style veil because I “want” a train but not for the whole day, so I want to opt for a long veil to have the train effect, but am able to ditch it by the reception.

Anyways I think the dress is gorgeous and I think a veil would piece it together and I think any longer style would look great with it! And like others have mentioned, you don’t have to wear it the whole night if you are worried about it getting in your way!

I think it would look good either way. I think I like it better just the way it is. Now if your doing more formal than maybe for the ceremony.

No matter what length, a single layer. that back is too pretty to cover with tulle!

personally i think a fingertip length single layer veil with some simple, narrow applique along the edges would look so elegant with this dress, but im also not huge on the fuss that comes with a cathedral veil.

Yesss that was my dilemma, I'm obsessed with the back. But nervous no veil would make me not feeel like a bride. So I think I'm going with single layer, fingertip length ! 😊 thanks so much for your advice!

Hehe my pleasure! I got mine from etsy. That’s my latest advice. It was amazing and only cost $65. It was as nice as the $300 one in the bridal shop. Hope that helps!
