Wow, i didn't expect to get this many responses. Thanks a lot ladies. I guess im just worried the dress will look too busy so that's why I'm opting for a very very VERY simple veil if i get one.

The dress i got it at a davids bridal outlet strore for 450 in secaucus nj ! It was the last size in a size 2. And im a size zero lol. Talk about luck lol.

    Thanks everyone for your responses.

I bought a mermaid dress too. I wasn't going to wear a veil at all- maybe just a hair comb, clip or headband with jewels on it, BUT the woman at the bridal salon insisted that I try on a very plain sheer (very light and flowy) chapel train veil with just some scattered swarovski stones on it more towards the bottom (kinda matched the dress actually with the scattered look) and I knew I had to have it for the ceremony. You really do have to try them on with the dress to get an idea of what you are looking for.

I was totally against a veil too and have a form fitting dress. My mom always wanted me to wear a veil so the woman in the store put one on me and it was perfect! Mine is only elbow length with no blusher and just has very minimal beading around the bottom that totally matches my dress. I am however keeping the veil a secret and am going to show up to the first look without it and put it on for the ceremony. The only people who know are my aunt, my hair stylist, my photographer and my MOH!!! I'm very excited.

Just try some out and see what you like and fits your personality and the dress. If you decide none, that no worries but at least you know what it would look like and can make an informed decision with no regrets :0)

You have many options with this gorgeous dress. I would keep it simple no matter what you decide. You could have a birdcage with rhinestones or you could do a simple drop veil that is maybe fingertip length with no other adornment. There is a lot going on with your dress and you don't want to distract from it. You are going to look great with or without a veil.
