Veil length?

Hi, Ladies!

Just wanted some opinions here. I have found the matching veil for the Pepper gown! Even if I don’t necessarily go with this gown, I wanted to get your opinion on a veil length (no matter which dress I choose, I will definitely have a veil!). There are two lengths that I am considering, “fingertip” or “cathedral”... as a reminder, I am getting married on a beach, so I am leaning towards the fingertip length. What do you ladies think? I included a photo of the dress again just so you can see how the veil matches the detailing on the bodice. So beautiful! Veil length? 1

For a beach wedding, I'd do the fingertip length. You don't want to pull a bunch of sand behind you or let the pretty lace get buried in the sand in your pictures.

Everyone is on board with fingertip, that’s the winner! I agree with you 😊 plus the fingertip length will let the lace ends really “shine” since you can’t really get a good look at it while it’s on the ground, etc. ☺️

I bought fingertips, but after a while I got veil regret. I ordered a plain royal cathedral for my beach wedding. It looks gorgeous on pictures and I can use the veil as photo prop, it’s soooo romantic.

As a bride who went with the HP Pepper dress, I decided on a fingertip veil but not the matching one. I tried cathedral length and the long dramatic effect was minimized/reduced because of the layers of the bottom skirt. The fingertip one looked like it fit better with the flowy vibe of the dress overall and didn’t cover up the fun wispy-ness of the textured skirt.

I have a relatively long and detailed train so I didn't want to take anything away from that plus I thought the longer veil would just be too much and too long. Mine is fingertip length and you can't go wrong with that. Its just gorgeous!

You’re absolutely right! I think the fingertip length is perfect and will look getter since people will be able to see the detailing more than if it were longer and on the ground behind me, etc. 😊

I definitely vote fingertip veil! I think it will be easier for you, especially on the beach. Fingertip veils aren't as heavy and don't get in the way. And this particular veil matches your dress so perfectly! It compliments it in all the right ways and draws attention to the detail in the bodice of your dress. A cathedral veil would get kind of lost in the sand.
