Veil length for my dress

I’m 5’0” and still wore a cathedral length veil. 😂 I had a semi-long and detailed train on my trumpet dress. I originally went with a chapel length veil, but after seeing the matching veil for my dress... I had to have it. It definitely emphasized the details on my dress and didn’t distract from it.


If you’re all about the dramatic look— go for the longer version! However, if you want the focus on your dress... go for the waltz version.

I did a fingertip length. I’m 4’11”. I just didn’t want all that fabric back there.

I am 4”7, I am going with fingertip as well. The longer ones makes me look shorter.

I’m 5’ exactly and I’m doing a cathedral length veil as well. My dress is very simple but elegant & when I tried the shorter veils, it just didn’t look right. The dress you posted in the link was freaking gorgeous! I think a long veil will look great. You’re gonna take it off for the reception anyway. But this is your wedding so you do what feels best. I’m 5’1” and petite and I’m doing a fingertip veil with Essence of Australia D2846! Just not the veil pictured. Like yours, mine has some beautiful lace at the end of the train and I didn’t want to take away from that

I think fingertip or a sheer chapel length.
