Veil during reception?

Madison, on April 14, 2019 at 10:16 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
Is anyone else wearing their veil during the reception? I have a fingertip veil and my dress is simple, I just think the veil “makes” the dress and I kinda don’t want to take it off! My hairdresser said it will pull all night when people hug me or dance with me.

I had a fingertip length veil and I could not wait to take it off as soon as cocktail hour started. It kept getting in the way.

Also had a fingertip length, I planned to keep mine on all night for the same reason as you, but it fell off when the group dancing started (after the first dance and all that) and never went back on Smiley laugh . All the nice photos are already taken by then anyway.

I’m thinking about it! I’m planning on getting a cathedral veil and then bustling it after the ceremony. I’m hoping the veil won’t make my shoulders feel so “naked” or bare.

One thing to watch out for--your hair can get very sweaty if you leave your veil on while dancing.

I purchased a finger tip veil and am having veil regret. I think I'm going to order a longer one for the ceramony and am thinking I'll wear the finger tip veil for the reception... Thoughts?

I think that’s fine! It’s your wedding, wear whatever would make you happy!
