Veil decisions

Im a quarter inch under 5 feet and I got a fingertip veil. Pics for length reference.

I got my veil at the same boutique that I purchased my dress at. When I went to pick up my dress they had me try on veils and I picked one that has the same beading on the edge of the veil that the dress has. My dress has a long train so I chose a veil that goes down to my bum to not overshadow the train. You can find veils anywhere though! I would measure how long you want your veil to be and then search online for that specific length.

My veil was cathedral length (120”) and I’m 5’6. If you wanted slightly shorter you could go with chapel length. I forget how many inches it is, but I know it’s shorter than cathedral but still floor length. I got mine from Bridals by Teri on Etsy

She custom made mine with lace I loved - it looks a lot like the lace my mom wore for her second wedding - and even added pearls which I wanted because my fmil is letting me wear her mother's pearls. It was also pretty affordable for the custom work! My veil is the second veil as you go down her posts. You can tell on me it pools behind me just a little bit. A floor veil on you would probably do just about the same effect.

I'm 5'1 and unsure what length to get too. I just know I want it floor length so I bought a simple raw edge 120" veil from Amazon for 15 bucks and will cut it to length once I know how I'm going to place it in my hair. This option gave me less anxiety trying to figure out what length I need lol.

I’m 4’11 and this was a cathedral veil I found on amazon for $12! It was long but I love it and so did everyone else! They couldn’t believe it was only $12! It was a great quality!
