Veil appointment?

Lynne, on February 5, 2022 at 10:05 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 10
I can't decide if I want a veil or not. Should I schedule an appointment, put my dress on then try different veils?

I am really stumped on this?

If you’re still on the fence, it’s worth a shot to try them on. Keep in mind the season and formality of your venue. Personally I’m not having a veil and I’m also going to have my dress cut to floor length because I’m getting married in June outside.

My wedding is indoor in August. I'm thinking of having it shortened just enough to where I can walk.

You could always make an appointment just to go try some veils on! If you end up not liking any of them, you don't need to buy one. It might help you make a decision one way or another when you see how they look on you with the dress. Try on all different lengths to see what you like/don't like.

Yes! You should definitely do that and try in gown with it. I had no plans of wearing a veil until last week when I went for a fitting and they suggested a waist length veil. When they put that veil in my head it was like magic happened. Now I can’t I see it!

I posted a picture in a thread I created called Veils. There are some other pics of brides in various ones that May serves as inspiration. Check it out!

Just got have a try! It'll be helpful to visualize. Personally, I'm not doing a traditional veil and I'm going for a birdcage so none of the dress gets covered. 😊

I did an accessories appointment the week after I bought my dress. It was nice to have an hour to just play with accessories and see what the entire look would be. I went alone and had a great time with my consultant.
