Did anyone have their honeymoon in Vegas? What things did you do? Any recommendations for places to stay?

I live in Vegas and there's definitely some fun things you can do! There's bars and nightclubs, naturally but there's also a life outside of the club scene!

    1. Gondola Ride in the Venetian Canal
    2. The Void (if you're into virtual reality - fully submersive room you can walk through!!)
    3. The Eiffel Tower Restaurant
    4. The High Roller (they also have an open bar option)
    5. Hot air balloon
    6. Valley of Fire
    7. Neon Museum
    8. Helicopter ride
    9. The Mob Museum
    10. Fremont (if that's not where your zipline is)
    11. Tournament of Kings Dinner and Show
    12. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
    13. Horseback riding
    14. Foodie Tour
    15. Skydiving
    16. Bungee Jump (I know they have one from off the stratosphere)
    17. Escape Room
    18. Axe Monkeys
    19. Shooting Range
    20. Supercar Racing Experience at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

As far as hotels, there's Vdara, Paris/Bally's, The Wynn, The Cosmpolitan and The Palazzo I would say are the top 5! Hope that helps!!

Thank you for the recommendations! Do you have to buy tickets for a lot of the events in advance?

Actually just came back from my honeymoon in Vegas. OMG so much fun! We did get tickets in advance for a few things. The High Roller which is really cool and when we went to go see KA (cirque du soleil). The show was rather expensive in my opinion but worth it. There is so much to see and do as was mentioned before. Me and my husband came back to the hotel every night wiped out because there was so much to do there! The food is awesome there also. I recommend the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. There are plenty of cheap eats there too on and off the strip. We got a hotel off the strip just because it’s cheaper but there are nice ones on the strip too like the MGM Grand.

I am getting married there in Feb. Outside of Vegas there are many scenic places, Valley of Fire, Red Rock canyon. They have helicopter rides for grand canyon. Hoover dam. And actually California is driving distance so could take a day to go visit.

We did! We stayed at Flamingo. Some things we did that I definitely recommend doing....

    -High Roller Observation Wheel

    -Gondola ride

-Pool party (we got a day bed at Flamingo Go pool and had a ton of fun)

-Seeing a Cirque De Soleil show (we saw Ka at MGM)

-Seeing a concert (we saw the backstreet boys)

    -The Eiffel Tower

    -Walk the strip

I HIGHLY recommend going to Buddy V's in the Venetian for Brunch on a Sat or Sun it was the best food I ever had and the live band played a song for us.

You can buy tickets for shows at any box office, so you don't have to worry about getting tickets ahead of time if you're unsure what you feel like going to
