    Absinthe.

Seriously, don't bother with another show, or Cirque. Cirque has really sucked it up the last few years.

    Go. See. Absinthe!

It depends on what you like to do and how much you are willing to spend.

There is the typical male revue shows (Thunder from Down Under, Chippendales).

If you love clubbing, you should totally wear something that lets others know you are a bride (tiara or veil), you'll totally get free drinks for you and your girls (just make sure you get the drinks from the bartender/server and not have it just handed to you). My favorite clubs are in the Wynn, (XS and Tryst). If you like clubbing, then make sure you walk around the strip, there are usually promoters on the street that'll put you on a guest list and this means you'll be able to get in for either a discounted price or free (as long as you show up before 12).

But vegas has lots to do. If you like food, there are awesome celebrity chefs that have resturants there. There are lots of great places to have a spa day. It just depends on what you're expecting out of it. (I don't know everything there is to do, but I can help. I've been there enough times to know what I like.)

Note: if you have sensitivities over racial, sexual or sexist jokes... don't go.

If you have a sense of humor at all, I laughed so hard I hurt the next day.

@Kristy. I will meet that lady comedian and will be her bff.

I don't like Vegas shows. I love doing a pool cabana during the day (average about $400 per day) then walking the strip in the evening and stepping out to a formal night club on the late night. I am going for my bachelorette party but I am not even allowed to know where we are staying because I have been trying to help pay and they keep turning me down so now I am banned to know any more details about our trip! LOL

I disagree about the Cirque shows. I lovee Mystere! My friends went to see Zumanity and they enjoyed it. Very sexual and kind of weird, but still really good lol.

I want to see Absinthe now!

I didn't plan the bachelorette for my best friend and we stayed at the Cosmo, it was SO expensive! I don't really know if it was worth it... I would recommend going over there to take a picture with the chandelier because it is a beautiful backdrop and perfect for a bachelorette party picture. We went to XS which was a lot of fun and also Thunder from Down Under. We ate at Dick's Last Resort and that was also really entertaining. It will be a fun trip!

Since your wedding is in May I would recommend getting a cabana or daybed at one of the pools with your girls ! The weather will be amazing and it will be a lot of fun! I also agree that Absinthe is a great show : )

I would be happy to help you with any questions.

Im going there for my bachelorette this month. Go to vegas.com or mysincityparty.com you can see they have packages for different things to do. We are doing a stripper 101 show that includes a dinner. Then at night we are doing one of their packages of a suv limo pick up at our hotel, vip entrance and bottle service at a club. As far as a circe show I'll recommend Zumanity. Oh and we are staying at Polo tower suites its off the strip behind the MGM, normally I stay on the strip but we rather pay less for room and spend more on activities. We got a 2 bedroom suite with a full kitchen living room and dining area.

I'm having my bachlorette party in Vegas too! We are all staying at The Linq. They just opened this past fall and ended up being only $100 a night when we booked. Cheaper than most hotels I've looked at and its in the middle of the strip! We are starting our night off at their "High Roller" ferris wheel. Its about a 2 hour ride and in each room you have your own bar and full view of the strip! You should definitely check out those websites Mayra suggested too!

Natalie, we're staying at the Linq too!! My bachelorette is a week from Friday and I CANT WAIT.

Op, normally we stay at treasure island, it's nice and in the middle of the strip so you don't pay as much for taxis and getting places. I love the Marquee night and day club in the Cosmo, it's awesome! Also Tao if you're more into hip hop and not EDM.

Other than Thunder from Down Under (which you should do!) I have zero idea what we're doing in Vegas haha.

What dates are all you ladies going?

Id suggest anything in the MLife group. There are a lot of options in the chain and the more you charge to the room (you can charge anything you do to the room if it's at any of the hotels that are part of the MLife group), the more likely you are to get comp'd. Sign up for the MLife membership ahead of time so they track your charges. Mandalay Bay has the Light night club which is awesome but there are several other clubs. Excalibur has the Thunder Down Under show. Pools at Mandalay Bay, Mirage and even Monte Carlo are a fun scene. There are also a lot room options for most price ranges. Just stay away from Circus Circus.

ETA: 1. if you book directly through hotels/their rewards program you are more likely to get upgrades, etc. than if you book through something like hotels.com because they get more of the profit. 2. They MLife group has some decently priced suites (try MGM or Monte Carlo) if you're looking for that kind of experience.

Natalie please don't give misinformation. The High Roller is a 30 minute ride. It travels 1 foot per Minute. Pods do not have a bar unless rented as a party. There is a bar you can get a drink at before entering the pods. The view is beautiful.

My FH built it. It's amazing. But not 2 hours and does not have a bar in the pods.

Absinthe is great but small. Cirque shows are phenomenon all based on which one. Love. KA. O. Zumanity. Zarkana. All great shows.

Cosmo has a Chandalier Bar with buzz button margaritas. They make your mouth tingly/numb. Super fun. Rehab Pool Party is a blast.

Thanks everyone Smiley smile I have stayed at the Linq for my sister's 21st bday. I am looking for maybe more the suite kinda experience because the bride to be was also at my sister's 21st and would not want it to be the same. Ya know?

And we did the high roller ride in May when it first opened. It was pretty awesome. Wish we had brought alcohol with us! I bought my sister tickets to go for her birthday and I sent her prepared with a yard stick full of booze! Smiley smile

We will definitely be looking at the pool party places. I will look into Rehab!

Has anyone stayed on Freemont street?!

Fremont St aka Downtown is great. Less glamour but a lot has been remodeled. Insert Coins is a video game bar. Beauty Bar is rad. Gold Spike has giant games in the bar. Like giant beer pong, connect 4, hopscotch etc. Golden Gate has some great cheap suites. Golden Nugget does as well and has a pool with a slide that is clear and runs thru a shark tank aquarium.

The first time I went to Vegas, we stayed on Fremont Street. It definitely has a different atmosphere than the strip. The hotel we stayed at is no longer open so I can't help with that. The only place I can recommend is Hogs & Heifers Saloon. It is one of my favorite places to go downtown.

Andixlyn.. sorry if what I said was not correct. I called the hotel in January to book and this is what they informed me of. Either way, we are still starting our night out with the high roller with the private bar.

Don't spend too much money. Me and the girls spend a lot on food at nice restaurants, but for clubs, we didn't pay for a thing. If you go with a "planner" for your bach party, they'll get you discounts maybe, but you'll still have to pay pretty big bucks.

I texted these people right beforehand (left it up to the last second) and I was able to get different deals at different times in the clubs and we went club hopping:

    http://heelsfirsttravel.boardingarea.com/2014/05/22/get-hook-las-vegas-clubs/

The clubs stamp your hand, so if you decide you liked the first club better, you still can skip the line to go back in. But this made for a very cheap bach party! One place was free absolute drinks with wrist band from 10-12, then we went into Rose Rabbit Lie and got an open bar for the first hour, then two free drink tickets afterwards.
