Valet parking

Futurebride2018, on March 7, 2017 at 1:52 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

A little background: my venue offers the option to have guests pay per car for valet or for us to prepay it. Obviously we are prepaying for their valet parking. Here's my dilemma, there will be another event in a different room/same parking lot and I'm concerned that if the other party doesn't pay for their guests parking, my guests may assume without asking that they would have to pay and try to park somewhere else. Should I put that the valet parking is covered with the information about the venue?

Put it on your wedding website in the details section, Also--see if the venue has those folding boards that valets often set out. Many times they have magnetic pieces on them that could be interchanged. You could have a magnet made that says "Smith/Johnson wedding complementary valet" to stick on it.

I am paying for valet and in my invitation I will include a valet card to bring with them to show the valet... I'm having my wedding at a brewery so I don't want other people trying to use the parking I'm paying for lol.

@APZ thank you, I didn't even think of asking about a sign

@Amanda I was thinking of adding a card of some sort, but I feel like a lot of people would forget to bring it
