usa honeymoon

So we had to cancel our April wedding because of Covid. I am hoping to have a small mini wedding sometime late next year. I am not optimistic that we will be able travel out of the US anytime soon. Any good recommendations for places in the US to mini moon in? Probably not comfortable in Florida (or any other place not taking Covid seriously) and am from California so looking for something that is a little more than a weekend trip! Any suggestions?

    New Orleans would be cool ! Don’t know how they are now with covid but it’s a great place for a trip

    Are you a city person, a beach person, an adventure person?

    I don't want to tell you to go gallivanting around NYC if you hate big cities! (Though when we open back up, please come, we miss everyone.)

    I agree with Rebecca - I think it depends on what type of honeymoon you're looking for. If you're looking for beach, maybe somewhere along the east coast (Maine, South Carolina, etc)? Or if you're looking for bigger cities, there's Chicago, New York, New Orleans, etc. Other places I'd recommend are Denver, Nashville (or really anywhere in Tennessee), visiting caves in Kentucky, etc.

    Thanks for the suggestions! We are up for everything! Our last vacation was to Cambodia where we got some beach time, big city exploring, historical and cultural sites as well! A mix of busy exploring and relaxing with a drink in hand!
