When is your honeymoon? Scottsdale Arizona is supposed to be a great spot. I haven’t been yet but I know they have beautiful resorts there. The Florida Keys are beautiful...check out Dry Tortugas for a Day trip. You can always go the national park route and hit a bunch out west.

We are planning on going the first week in June. We actually are looking at Scottsdale/Sedona. Or just going to a beach. My fiancé thinks I will later regret not going to a beach because that’s my favorite place but I’m so open to anything! Arizona would be new to both of us. Florida would be semi new to me.

Ohh yes Scottsdale/Sedona would be awesome!! If you’re looking into Florida, you should check out Marco island. They have some resorts there and it’s really a beautiful and relaxing place that is somewhat secluded! If you did the keys you don’t even have to drive all the way to key west. There’s key largo and marathon which both would have tons of water activities and great snorkeling!

Hawaii is beautiful. Several of my friends honeymooned there and loved it. Southern California is one of my favorite places to vacation. Lots to see and do. Weather is always perfect. Are you open to a honeymoon outside of the US? If so Bermuda or the Bahamas are beautiful as well.

Also agree that it depends on what interests the 2 of you! We originally booked an all inclusive in the Caribbean but we hate the beach and even though the reviews are excellent, we were a little afraid that we might not like it. We also hate the beach. Lol. We decided to change it to Las Vegas! Even though we probably go to Vegas 2 or 3 times a year, we will stay at one of the best hotels in the world, in one of the biggest suites I've ever seen where we will be pampered! Vegas also has world class fine dining and endless entertainment! Because we go to Vegas often, there is no pressure for us to get up and sight see and we can relax as much as we want in luxury! (A close 2nd was Disney World which we decided to do for our baby moon. Lol)

We were originally going to do Disney because my MOH works there and would get us some extreme discounts (free tickets/hotel 40% off) but we just did that last summer. We were offered free accommodations in Vegas as a wedding gift so that’s what we are doing.

    other ideas:
    Lake Tahoe (so pretty!!!!)
finger lakes, NY (if you’re a wine drinker especially)
    hilton head island is great
    Gatlinburg/Great Smokey Mountains

My favorite US places are Traverse City, Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, Lake Tahoe, Colorado Springs/Manitou, And New Orleans and I think they’d all make amazing honeymoons depending on what you’re looking for Smiley smile

If you go with Florida beaches, go Gulf side rather than Atlantic (unless trying to pair with other stuff like theme parks, Disney/Universal are about an hour drive from Daytona or Cocoa Beach). You'll get sunsets on the Gulf side, pretty and makes it less likely for the sand to burn your feet early in the day. Just be ready for some serious heat and humidity in Florida in June if you go that route. And brief thunderstorms every afternoon.
