We received our wedding late last night so we didn't have a chance to look at it until about an hour ago when my husband got home from work. It is gorgeous, but the back binding doesn't appear to be glue properly so it looks like it could come apart. I'm so upset. We spent almost $500 on the album which to me is a lot of money and I don't know if the company will do anything to make this right. I reached out to their customer service, but it says it could take 1-2 business days to hear back.

    I hope they are able to do something about it or if not do you think maybe it’s something that you could add some glue or a simple fix by yourself?

    1-2 days isn’t bad. I’m sure they’ll work out something with you. If not, you might be able to adhere it more securely yourself, as PP mentioned.

    My husband says he could clue it, but I personally don't feel we should have to glue their error. You can hear the glue not properly holding when flipping through the book. Below is the photo and you can see where the glue is separating from the leather backing.

    My husband says he can fix it, but after spending almost $500 I don't feel we should have to fix their error.

    That might not be a mistake. Sometimes with leather bindings they're separate from the pages so there isn't cracking. I had to have my album redone too. They cut off a lot of pics so that the centerfold was in the middle of a picture. Lol my photographer was so mad at the company. He and I did a redesign for free. Got it last week. Worth it. Ask your photographer!

    I agree. Looks normal to me with an outer binding. But I’m sure they will work with you if it is an issue. I wouldn’t drive yourself crazy over it.

    I ordered the album from a separate company so the photographer can't do anything about it. I have emailed the company.

    When you open it you can see the glue literally separating which is why I believe it is an error. The front isn't this way which is another reason I think it's an issue. You can also hear the glue separating from the leather backing while paging through the album.

    Thanks! My husband says if they won't he will just reglue it himself. It just sucks because I was so excited to get it after spending so much time designing it.
