uplighting

My venue is overlooking a lake, lots of windows, white walls. Reception starts at 5:30 in May. So sunset around 7ish. Is it worth the price of uplighting (about 400) for 2 hours? Did you have a open ballroom with uplights?

I think it depends on your budget and your venue. Some venues don’t need a ton of decor. Have you seen yours with and without uplighting?

I personally think you'd be fine without uplighting!

I love uplighting, but I prefer that warm candlelight color.

Yikes! For how many uplights? I love the look but $400 is pricey. Have you checked out RentMyWedding.com? We rented cordless ones for only $25 each (free shipping both ways). 👍
