Uplifting

Katie, on March 13, 2020 at 4:02 PM Posted in Planning 0 8
Hey guys I am here to bring up a topic that I think needs to be addressed.

Over the past few days I have seen SO many post about brides worried sick of their wedding planning being ruined due to this virus. I am too a bride that is worried. What bothers me is that people are pushing others thoughts and feelings aside by saying how much closer there wedding is. It feels as though you as saying our feelings don’t matter. We are all future brides on here looking for someone to talk to. We are the only ones that understand what we are feeling in this stressful time. I understand some of you have weddings that are days, weeks or even a month from now. I can’t even begin to imagine the stress you have. The point of this that we need to keep each other positive. Since our country is in such a time of panic and anxiety we should be lifting each other up instead of pushing each other’s feelings aside.

I completely agree. However the positivity in regards to Future Brides shouldn't be just due to the coronavirus but in general. I see consistent negative comments for anything Viet bridal shower related, stressed with family, Etc ...overall this form to be a positive place to uplift each other regardless of the topic in my opinion so I agree with what you're saying.

I agree with you 100%. I actually decided to disable this app for awhile. I have this up on my work computer but am leaving here shortly. I understand everyone's stress and things but I need a break from coronavirus for a bit. I know that might not be the most intelligent thing to do, but it's taking a toll on me and I think a lot of people right now.

Funny I was considering disconnecting until the corona scare lessens. It has dominated the boards. I may have to follow your lead.

I love the encouragement! So many posts about COVID19... we're all stressed out and worried, but we're all brides just wanting to have the day we always dreamed of! When it comes down to it, everything passes, and everything works out one way or another. Thanks for sharing Smiley heart

    Katie,
What a lovely, thoughtful and compassionate post, my weddings not until Feb. 2021, so I don't have to deal with the fears of postponing my wedding as many of our sisters are doing now!! To all of our fellow brides to be, our hearts ❤️ are with you, and we are here to support you!!!!!!!!
