UPDATE Dress from DHGate

I haven't used it for a bridal gown, but I've bought a bridesmaid dress from there. I'm in my cousins wedding and all five of us ordered from there because it's what she wanted and each of our dresses are different. It's more than likely not going to look the same and to ship it back is just as much as the cost of the dresses we bought.

You can find a lovely dress without ordering from China. Just keep looking.

Also if your wedding date is correct I don't even know that you'd get it in time.

Yea it's correct.I'm not sure of what to do yet. I know when I have ordered from them in the past it has been delivered at a reasonable time never took long but I know that I can run a risk with timing.

You could order it, if you have time, and take a risk. Just be sure to have a seamstress on speed dial in case you need her.

I used dhgate and got a replica of what I wanted. Ended up getting half my money back because they refused to return and had to order the right dress again. On the other hand, my friend just got her dress and her replica looks great. It saved her money

The ruffles, beading and material completely different. The dress did not look bad on me, however it wasn't what I wanted and I didn't want to go through pictures not loving what i had on

You can save the image or screencap it and crop just the picture, then do a reverse Google Image search to find the designer and get not a knock off. You'll pay more, but you could get to try it on, it's local (US), and better quality.

Oh it got ordered I took my chances. I have a back up plan just in case it does not come out right. Yup I took a gamble eeekk!!

@richard I have only ordered jerseys for FH from them and honestly ... They have been GREAT but that being said I know they can screw up hence the back up plan

I would never take the risk.

I ordered bridal bolero jacket and I never received it. They agreed to give me a full refund,so I would never trust them for dress.

You would definitely need a backup plan if it doesn't work so keep with what you're doing

@Miss.M, let us know how it turns out! I have been doing a ton of research on buying online as well.

I work with a woman who ordered her replica gown on DH Gate and she says while it arrived in a DHL "bag" from China and was a bit wrinkled, the fit was perfect and I've seen photos and it was gorgeous. I'm ordering mine from them this month for my October wedding with a seamstress standing by if need be.

Well update I ordered it!! Back up plan is there though. It should arrive by June 17 I'll post an update once I receive the dress. I'm not expecting bad or good it will be what it will be.

Update is I received the dress ... Well mom did I can't see till July when I fly down. She loves it and said that even the material was very nice and great quality. Anyways I'll have to update again when I try it on but figured I'd show y'all her pics sorry not great as per packaging it looks wrinkled.
