I added bling after I spray painted all of my pieces with metallic silver but the castles still look darker than the carriages. The carriages will have pearl fairy lights laying on top and flowers in the center. The castles will have lights draped around the base. Each will sit on a round mirror.

I have a few problems with the castles (which I only have 3 because they kept getting damaged in shipping) the spray paint color doesn't paint light enough on the mesh or something.... and there are areas on the bottom of the stairs that I need to put something to cover up some manufacturer dings. Any ideas on how to help with these things Or should I scrape the castles all together and have 10 carriage centerpieces?

    Awww Runawaybride thank you! I purchased them online, spray painted, bedazzled them and added bling here and there. The pearl fairy lights I got at Walmart.

    I agree Sara! I thought maybe I'd love them as much as the carriages or could be creative with them and fall in love but I'm all out of ideas.

    With the lights dim and the shadows and reflections from the fairy lights/ tea lights no one will see any slight variations in color, I promise! I can't even see it in the photos you just posted. They look really cute, great job!

    To be honest, I love, love, love the carriages! The castles, not so much. And it's not about the color, I can't differentiate between the two, it's the style of the castles that just doesn't do it for me. Personally I would completely go with those stunning carriages.

    What if you covered the base of the stairs with a few small flowers to match with the carriages thst will have flowers in the center? But I think with the dim lighting no one will notice the dings anyway. Super cute!

    Here's an update! I've added more bling to the castle and I'm starting to like it more. I'm still working on the stairs and decided to not use them as centerpieces. I'm going to add them as toppers on the aisle markers instead. I'll post an update of my final piece.
