Update: bridesmaid/moh dresses

I’m still struggling big time with incorporating yellow into the wedding color scheme. It’s a spring wedding at the botanical gardens and we’re a younger couple so any dream was to have something fun and romantic. The groomsmen are in navy and I’ve decided on these two dresses for my bridesmaid and MOH. Either the BM will wear yellow and MOH will wear emerald or the other way around. Does the yellow clash too much with the rest of the color palette? I just don’t want things to look too busy instead of seamless.

    I love the emerald and gold but I think it would look better if the guys were in black or gray. Navy, green and gold seems like a lot.

    Girl the green and gold/ yellow is perfection! I would probably do gray for the men though.

    Agreed! Emerald and Green look great! But the guys need to be in a gray with (whatever color you choose the brides maids to wear) pocket square

    The green and gold is gorgeous! And that’s a super fun dress, definitely love it! I’ve seen color palates on pintrist with jewel tones and they’ve incorporated a third bold shade like ruby or sapphire/navy. If you get the right shade of blue, I say go for it! If it looks good to you, your bridesmaids and fiancé, do it! Like you said, you’re a young couple, keep it fun!

    I like where you're going with that but my fiance will be wearing his dress blues from the Army. The pants have a gold stripe down the middle, hence the color combination I selected.

    I think it's important to my fiance that he wears his Army dress blues. They have a gold stripe down the pants so that's why I wanted my girls to wear yellow. Do you have any suggestions for a different color for the MOH?

    I agree with PPs, the emerald and gold look lovely together, but the navy with it might be a bit much. A neutral for the men may be better or you could just go with one color for the BMs.

    That makes total sense. I would suggest a different dress in the same color for your MOH if you want her to stand out more. Maybe with a jeweled belt or broach or something in the emerald color?

    Maybe the same color but a different cut? Or more sparkle? A slightly bigger bouquet and the only girl with an updo?
