I know not much you guys can help with just wanted to vent and get your advice. so found my photographer on craigslist she has a website and everything. so i thought ok shes for real me and my FI liked her pics so it was a done deal she was super nice on the phone and the first time i met her is when it all started. we decided to meet up so i could make a down payment she would show me more of her work and things like that. she showed up 2hrs late. that should have been a red flag for me! what was i thinking! BUT i knew the area downtown where she was coming from freeways were under construction which i knew about so i gave her the benifit of the doubt. she was super nice i loved her work so i paid her $650 (what she wanted as a down payment) seemed like alot but she said she has had trouble in the past with people not paying her in full at the end so i paid half for our down payment.
