Unplugged ceremony sign worth it?

Can anyone tell me if it's worth it to buy an unplugged ceremony sign? I've been debating this for a week and I can't make a decision on it.

I love me some signs but I'm forgoing this one. We are having our officiant walk down the aisle first and announce it. That way it'll be fresh in people's minds.

I'm definitely anti-sign in general, the one sign we got was an unplugged sign. It was like $10 on zazzle and we got a frame for it. Also having our officiant announce it. I HATE the pictures with cell phones. I also just want our guests to enjoy the 20 minutes without their phones.

We won't be having a sign, but I'll have our officiant mention it at the beginning of the ceremony and possibly listed on the website

Good question. I will definitely be having officiant say something. Didn't even think of that!

We had our pastor make an announcement at the beginning of the ceremony and put it in bold on our programs. Two people sneaked some photos- but everyone else respected it (to my knowledge).

We also worded it very clearly by saying "please do not take photos" rather than "unplugged" so that there would be no confusion.

Thanks for the advice! After debating last night FH and I decided to ask our DOC and our Officiant remind our guests. You guys just saved me some money!

I was also debating which signs were necessary. I put in my Q&A page that we will be doing unplugged ceremony mainly for the professional photography and not wanting a sea of phones in the way. If I last minute decide I want a sign, I'll print something on Microsoft word or canva and get a dollar store frame and put on the table where my yarmulkes will be.
