Unnecessary Stress!

Cassi, on August 21, 2019 at 1:42 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 5

Uhg just a small vent session!

Life is great! 52 Days away from our wedding but there has just been so much unnecessary stress its unreal! 1.) just normal stress of finances (already made a post about this but still a stresser even though we have it). 2.) picked up a second job bartending again 1-2 nights a week (which don't get me wrong I LOVE! just exhausting). I go to my normal job Monday- Friday 830-5 and Saturdays 8 till 1 thats already 45 hours a week and then 1-2 6+ hour shifts directly after my normal job to bartend. THEN 3.) I got served papers 2 weeks ago from my sons father cause he doesn't want to pay child support anymore. Then FINALLY to top off the cake TODAY I was sent an email from his attorney trying to hold me in contempt for some BS. So with all the financial stress of a wedding we had to take a load from my in laws (super appreciative) and hire a lawyer to combat all this stupidness I am dealing with now. Sorry guys just needed to vent!

2 days and I will be on a weekend away with my girls for bachelorette weekend which is a great sense of relief but my lawyer has to file ALL my paperwork by Friday so its definitely stressful!

I am so sorry you are going through that. I had to deal with some legal mess with my ex husband before the wedding and it became a battle to get him to even return the paperwork my lawyer sent him. Some people just can't stand others being happy. I hope this weekend is absolutely amazing for you. It sounds like you really need it!

Thanks girl! Yeah just pisses me off. He asked me to sign child support away and this and that (he owes 16k in back support). I told him we can go to the department of revenue together and get it straightened out so he just pays for his half of after school and medical expenses and they could figure out arrears then he just serves me with papers and gets lawyers involved and wants me to pay his attorneys fees because I was "uncooperative" its fine because its all still in my favor just unnecessary 2k spent on retaining a lawyer -_- on top of wedding stuff. Definitely need this weekend away!

I feel you so much!!! I was careful to make sure he knew the paperwork was coming, offered to make it easy to get it notarized, and offered to return it for him if that was easier. Instead I received a series of texts cursing me out like I was screwing him over. It was a simple thing that needed to be taken care of before I marry my FW and something we already agreed to. Luckily, I have legal services through my job. I would hate to see the hours billed without it.

I'm crossing my fingers that this is the last of the unnecessary stress for you and it works out in your favor. I'd make him pay YOUR legal fees. lol

I'm looking forward to your pics if you post them.
