Hi! We would like to do a tree planting ceremony but we live in an apartment so I was thinking about doing the bamboo plant instead. Was wondering if anyone has any scripts or ideas for it? I saw one online but it’s the only one I’ve seen and it seems a little too vague. Thanks in advance!!!

Tree planting ceremonies are really beautiful. I love their symbolism. What made you decide upon a bamboo plant? I would recommend discussing this with a florist before making a final decision as bamboo plants are some of the fastest-growing in the world and I’m sure you don’t want to have to prune your plant every day!
There is no set script that should be read at a ceremony like this. It is totally customizable and should be personalized to you both as a couple. Is your officiant familiar with performing ceremonies like this? If so, they would be a great resource.
What’s most important is that you explain to your guests what is happening and what it symbolizes.
