What are you doing for your "unity ceremony" if you are doing one? We are leaning toward the sand in some way as our wedding is outdoors and fighting the candle doesnt seem fun.

I'm not sure what I'm going to write for it but you could have your officiant talk about ups and downs in relationships and then discuss how you two plan to do that by creating this fight box to remind one another about your love

We did the cords of 3 but a little bit different. I wrote a script for it of how the cords represent him, me and us. That from this moment on we're woven together. And that that the cords also represent our lives, our past, present and future. Our unity board was the most photographed thing at our wedding 😊

We are going to do a tree or rose bush thing. We will have our parents water it and we and our children will also water it to symbolize all the generations of our family tree.

The third cord represents God. It is supposed to show the strong bond between the three.

I really want to do the sand ceremony, FH is leaning towards the knot tying... still trying to decide! But the fight box with wine and love letters is super cute too.
