unity candles? kneeling bench? I should know this by now.

Hi everyone, I have some what of a stupids question to ask. I have unity candles and a kneeling bunch for my ceremony,but i have no idea were these rituals go in a ceremony. sadly I have not been to hardly any weddings in my adult life and I'm kinda lost. please help! Thanks.

    It depends on your ceremony - your officiant should be able to help you put this in order.

    In general a kneeling bench is for whenever you pray and the unity candle is after the vows.

    Why are YOU providing the kneeler? anyway, if the pastor(who is also referred to as the officiant) is new, you might want to consider having a DOC for the rehearsal and ceremony prep

    Had a unity candle and a kneeling bench. It all worked out well and provided a little something significant to our wedding.
