Unexpected weightless..

Robyn, on April 26, 2021 at 1:16 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 2
I'm a Corona bride so I shouldn't be surprised that the hits keep coming right?! I was set to get married 9/24/20. Ended up having to postpone to 10/12/21. My wedding dress was good to go. Had already did my final fitting and the dress was home. By the way, this dress is suppose to be form fitting. I'm sure the stress of last year and stuff this year is the reason for the weight loss. I'm happy I lost some weight but I was thinking more along the lines of 5lbs so OF COURSE the one time 15lbs wants to fall off, it's when I didn't really need it to.

Has anyone else had a similar situation like this? What did you do?! I spent about $3500 on buying my dress and getting it tailored so you can see why I'm upset. I don't mind going back and having it fixed but I'm concerned that the dress is no longer going to look like what it's suppose to. It's very detailed so they can only do so much...😔How it fit a week ago vs how it looked the day I took it home. My new date is a little less than 6months away and I HATE that THIS is something I'm stressed about. Like what if I go back to the seamstress only to have it still not fit. I need some encouragement...

The dress looks great! I would talk with your seamstress. They should be able to maintain the dresses structure, shape and details. I would hold off until your are three months outs...at least that is how my seamstress requests for my fittings. Good luck and don't stress!

Your dress is beautiful Robyn!! 😍 It looks like it only needs a little tweaking and taking in at the waist!

Like Ingrid said, I'd schedule your first alterations appointment about 3 months out from your wedding and see how the dress is fitting then!
