I just picked up my dress from the tailor and it fit perfect. I was so excited and the only thing I noticed that wasn't perfect were my buttons (I had 7 dozen added all the way down and the spacing is a little off, but nothing worth complaining about). I told the employees that I loved it, got home and decided to try it on again. That's when I noticed that the hemline is uneven. The underlayment is the perfect length and even, but the lace overlay is too short on one side - so short I can see the underlayment clearly. I don't think I noticed when I was at the shop because of the way it was laying and if I play with it, it looks fine. I'm just worried that if my photographer takes photos when I haven't adjusted the dress right, it will show. Since it is a lace edge attached to a mesh overlay, there's really no way for them to make it longer again, and if they pull the other side up to match they'll have to shorten the underlayment and I'll need to buy new shoes. Because of Covid, I'm the only one who's seen the dress and none of my friends or family are close enough to give me a second opinion. I don't want to send pictures or ask them because maybe it won't be noticable unless I point it out, and if I don't get it fixed I don't want people looking for the flaw. I'm worried I'm overreacting, but I also don't know how to go back to the tailor after telling them I was happy with it when I left. Should I just get over it and be happy that the rest is perfect?
