I'm disappointed but I understand that she is in a tough position... Our plan was to have 5 BM and 5 GM... I've gotten mixed feedback when it comes to uneven bridal parties... concerns with pictures and processional. What do you think?

Mine is uneven. I am having 2 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen. Also, we are having 1 ring bearer and 6 flower girls. =) At first it bothered me...but I figured those are the people closest to us...and they are the only ones I want! I would say don't worry about it... =)

Mine is also uneven. I wouldn't mind if it was only off by one, but then my FH went and asked another friend (his cousin) to be his groomsman w/o giving me a heads up!! So now I'm down by two (my family moved around every few years while I was a kid as my dad was in the Army, and then a couple girls I was once close to I found out were not good friends/some backstabbing).

ANYHOW, back to the topic- being off by one is no problem. Just two groomsmen escort one of your girls down the aisle- one man on each side.

Ooops, forgot, FH always lived in same spot and his family actually hangs out together- mine never did, most cousins I met only once or twice.

Mine is REALLY uneven. I have 1 MOH, 8 BM's, 1 BM, 4 GM, 1 FG and 2 RB. lol..

We are having the BM/MOH walk solo, then each GM with walk with 2 BM's

I'm going to have the FG walk alone and have the two boys walk out with a "Here Comes the Bride" banner.

I just found out that my wedding party will be uneven. With only 17 days left until the wedding, I kind of freaked out. But I've decided to have the BM walk solo (which works b/e I have a maid and matron of honor, so I won't have to decide which one he walks with) and the BMs and GMs will walk in pairs. My 2 flower girls and ringbearer will all walk together.

We published an article about what to do with an uneven number within your wedding party. Whether its 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen or 8 bridesmaids or 4 groomsmen, we think this article can help http://www.bridebox.com/blog/odd-number-wedding-party/
