Yep. My FH had a list of folks he wanted on his side, including my brother, and I was one person short. So we're going to have the groomsmen lineup and not he part of the processional. Either that or the extra groomsmen, probably my brother, will walk our dog down.

    Yup!

I am very extroverted and have been a bridesmaid 8 times. He is introverted and only has a few close friends. I would never want him to add more and he wouldn't want me to change my mind.

We will have the guys walk down when he walks down and have the bridesmaids go one by one.

I'm honestly not a fan of having a bridesmaid walk down with a groomsmen who they just met anyways so this works well for us!

We did, 2 MOH and 2 BM, vs 1BM, 1GM, 1GW. The men and woman on Groom side waited with Groom off to the side of the altar. Only Dad and I came down the staircase. My ladies came through an arched doorway beside base of stairs. It was fine. Only comments were about FI choosing a cousin for his Groomswoman. They came in singly. They left with any 2 walking side by side. The 4 Ushers wore suits and sat with guests, 4 of FI's many brothers.

We do, but not excessively uneven. FH is having a best man & 2 groomsmen. I’m having a maid of honor & man of honor.

If you’re uneven by 1, have a groomsman walk with 2 bridesmaids, or vice versa. Or have the “spare” member of the bridal party walk with the officiant. My cousin got married last October and there were more groomsmen than bridesmaids. 6 of the groomsmen walked in three pairs at the end of the line. One of the bridesmaids was the mother of one of the flower girls, and she walked down the aisle with her daughter and none of the men. There are so many pairings you can do, it definitely doesn’t need to be 1 woman to 1 man.

That’s adorable. I love when dogs are included in people’s weddings.

We do! I have 1 MOH, 3 BM, and 1 JBM. He has 1 BB, 3 GM. We will just have the guys at the front with my FH and then the girls will walk down by themselves. The JM is FH's daughter so she will stand with the officiant so she can have the best seat in the house.

FH and I don't love how it looks to have the guys and girls walk in together. As a BM I think it's harder to walk, your bouquet isn't centered, and it can be slightly awkward. But it's all personal preference!

Yes! We had 10 GM and 9 BM. I was in a wedding in 2017 with 6 BM and 4 GM. Both were totally fine!

Yes. FI only wanted his brother with him and I have 2 sisters so I will just have his brother walk down with both.

We have 7 Bridesmaids & 8 Groomsmen... I'm having a hard time figuring our how they should all come back up for the recessional. For the processional, they groomsmen will walk with my fiancé, and the bridesmaids one by one, but how should they come back?
