Uneven bridal party?

Not unless you make it that way.. Most people probably wouldn't even notice.

Totally not awkward, and probably not even noticeable with that many in the wedding party. If you especially want to hide it, you could have all the guys walk down the aisle, and then all the girls, to avoid an odd numbered pair. Or just have one guy escort two girls.

We had 10 GM and 9 BM, it was totally fine!

Uneven parties are fairly common these days. We have 4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen.

Not at all! Before I was ever in a wedding I wondered about the same thing. But I've been in uneven parties and will actually have one myself. In the one I was in a couple of us walked with two guys, we actually fought over who got two lol. (Back in single days ...) My last wedding I was in we actually never walked with the guys at all. Bride's choice since we never met them. In alone and out staggered boy girl boy girl. Reception entrances were alone too.

Uneven parties are very common now and seem more natural since it is unlikely that you both have the exact same number of best friends/close family members. I had 3 of my closest friends and he had his brother.

Yeah, it's definitely not awkward at all, girl! Don't even worry about it. My wedding party is probably going to be uneven too!!! Besides, you would only have a 1 person difference. It really wouldn't be that obvious to me to be honest!! All the best to you

No - you can google "uneven wedding party" and see many fantastic photos of parties that are way more uneven that those. With 9 and 8 you won't even notice the difference in photos.
