Uneven bridal party

Can people who have had an uneven number of bridesmaids vs groomsman give me some insight please! Thinking about having 5 bridesmaids and 6 groomsman, so the last bridesmaid would be walking with 2 groomsman during the ceremony. I’m just worried how uneven/awkward bridal party pictures will look.

My husband and I had similar numbers - 6 bridesmaids and 7 groomsmen. Like you I was VERY hesitant as to how it would all look, but honestly on the day of it will be so far from your mind (hard to imagine now as I know brides are obsessed with all of the details!) and it's hardly noticeable. For the ceremony we had groomsmen follow behind my husband first, then family, then bridesmaids single file before me and my dad. For bridal party entrances for the reception we doubled up and had my husband's two brothers carry in one of my bridesmaids. It all turned out great! Best of luck!

My husband had 5 groomsmen and I had 4 bridesmaids. I don't think it looked too uneven, and as you mentioned, my last bridesmaid walked down the aisle with two groomsmen.
