Any suggestions on the type of underwear to wear under the wedding dress? I have my fitting appointment next week so need to buy some panties. I have a mermaid styled dress. I'm thinking about doing white lace hipsters or boy shorts.

I've been looking around also. My dress is A-line so I'm not concerned on anything showing but I do want sexy and comfortable.

I think hanky panky would do just fine for a size 2-4..I'm a 4-6 and they def aren't baggy on me. And they wear well throughout the day compared to other lace undies...for example the VS 'lacy' looks just like hanky panky but get saggy-hankys do not.

I'm wearing nude Spanx (the biker shorts one) I have to worry about chafing so I have to wear the long shorts.. ugh

I'm wearing a pair of form fitting nude shorts. However, my dress isn't a mermaid and I don't have to worry about any sort of lines showing through.

The breathable Fruit of the Loom underwear are amazing. The Micro-Mesh are so much better than the Cotton-Mesh

I wore little hipsters & boy shorts to all of my fittings & the panty lines were super visible, so I wore a thong the day of.

I also had a mermaid dress. Unless the material is really thin, you can pretty much wear whatever you want underneath! I wore pretty white panties that said "bride" on the butt just for fun
