So my dress is in (yaaay!), and I had my “try on” appointment this afternoon. It’s gorgeous, looks amazing, but I have an issue. I didn’t notice before how low the back is and when I tried it on today the underwear I wore was showing. I even tried to roll it down a bit but that did not work lol. The consultant suggested I go commando on my wedding day (I think not), or find some extremely low rise undies🙄... where do I even find these ? Does anyone else have this issue with their dress ?

I bet you could find super low rise panties from a sexy lingerie site, just make sure they’re not embellished or anything. Maybe even a comfy lowrise hipster style from department stores.

I'd wait to see what the seamstress says before buying specialty underwear. It may just be that the dress is too big and hanging low.

The place I am having my alterations done has a HUGE selection of undergarments for sale that will basically work with every dress. They will also make adjustments to those undergarments if needed to work with a specific dress. Maybe see what the alterations people have to say and see if they can make any suggestions or adjustments.

Best underwear ever are Under Armour thong in nude. They are low rise and wick away sweat too. Good luck!

Agree with this! Don’t worry or spend any money until you have your dress altered or know where it’s going to sit. Most dress stores and bridal boutiques will have a selection of underwear just for this though! Or like a specialty lingerie store. I’ve heard Macy’s is good too

Spanx has a low back compression bodysuit. All the department stores have it. It’s on amazon too, but it surprisingly more expensive there.
