Underneath the dress

I am planning on wearing a shaper type thing.

Go commando! Esp if you don’t need shapewear. It’s the only thing that guarantees no weird lines. I’m assuming your dress is lined.

This! I'm either doing this or buying some of the no-line VS undies, and I have the same type of dress.

I'm in a fairly form fitting dress in that area too. I'm going commando I think it's the safest way to avoid lines.

If you aren’t comfortable going commando, the no line or yoga panties from VS are a dream come true

I purchased a lightweight shaping pantry for under my dress. My trouble was getting one that was low enough for the back side of my dress. I found mine at Target for a reasonable price. If I were half my age (47) I would have gone commando, however, thou I am in good shape, at my age I feel having the shaper is a little more flattering. My dress is white with a liner, close in the hip/butt area and I went with a super light blush/skin tone color and you could not see it through the dress. Dress shop lady even did the flashlight test.
