Which undergarments did you wear to try on dresses in?

My first appointment I just wore underwear. They gave me a slip. I was so uncomfortable. I feel like I need to wear full Spanx or at least some high waisted compression underwear to my appointment tomorrow. Also, my stomach is kind of awful from having a child. I do not have the good skin elasticity genes..and I think I need something to hold it in. I also think it would help the way I feel in dresses. I'm a baggy clothes all the time type of girl. I don't like blmy body. If my pants aren't loose enough to pull off without unzipping, they're too small.

    I wore compression underwear and a slip. I also have a tummy issue and I wanted to get the best idea of what would look good the day of. You can get slips that are more like nylon shorts if you're not into wearing a skirt slip.

    I wore spanx and a strapless bra as that seemed to be the advice in the bridal mags I read. I felt more comfortable in the spanx that I would have in my normal underwear as they covered more as well ssmoothing, which helps when you have assistants getting you in and out of gowns!

    Right. I think I would have felt better in Spanx in front of someone who was putting dresses on and taking them off of me. Which..i didn't think of until I showed up to my first appointment. Thank you!

    Oh me either! I like the short type slips when I'm wearing dresses. Makes me feel 100% covered.

    Spanx! or any shapewear really help Smiley smile and yes, i agree with w-k, the ones that are high waisted shorts work best

    I wore a strapless bra that didn't fit great, but once I got to David's bridal they had better fitting ones. I had to use a bra extender because the girls are there and needed to be reigned in lol

    I loathe strapless bras. I'm not sure what I will end up doing for my boobs.
