Undergarments recommendations? 1
Here is my dress. I don’t really know what to do about undergarments. I was thinking to just wear the bra that they had me put on with the dress. I don’t think o need and spandex but the 2nd time I went in (to switch sizes) they have me put on a knee length spandex skirt to keep my legs from getting caught in the dress. I didn’t have a problem with that the first time I tried it on. What do you think?

    They probably had you put on a shift? Its probably a good idea just so it doesn't get caught in your legs and lead to awkward moments. If you get a bigger one, it'll puff out the bottom a bit too and make it easier to wear.

    They had me try on one of those at the first appointment but I didn’t like it; made the dress way to hot. The second appointment was literally just a spanx skirt.

    Yeah the spanx skirt should be fine! You just don't want to be awkwardly shimmying your dress out from between your legs.

    I could suggest some shape wear boy shorts. I have a ballgown too and it is not needed but it goes up to under my breasts which is nice for smoothing the stomach. I also got boy shorts because if it is hot outside and I get sweaty I am hopping it can prevent some chafing. I see you are at David's Bridal yes? Maybe ask alterations can they sew cups in. It was not expensive at the one I went to and I figured cheaper than a bra.

    I was thinking of asking to have cups sewn in or getting this, it’s what they had me try on with the dress. I feel like just adding the cups would be more comfortable though

    Check your store but my location said only $20 to sew in and that is cheaper than the bras suggested.
