Just got my petticoat/hoop skirt thing in today and wow. It’s huge!
At least I can walk normally now, and it forces people to stand farther away 😂 That extra airflow is a plus too!
I definitely recommend something like this.
Pictures of before and after so you can see just how dramatic it is

    Yes, undergarments make a difference! I have a ballgown and my slip helps keep people farther away, which I also love Smiley laugh

    Your dress is so pretty! I tried my dress on in the store again with a slip and it made a HUGE difference in how I felt about the skirt xD
    the 1st picture is without the slip, the 2nd picture is with the slip. I’m probably gonna get a bigger slip, but it definitely helped.

    I love the look! When I went to try on my wedding dress I wore a corset for the first time and honestly knew that was what I was going with. The only thing I’m struggling with right now is finding underwear I’m going to be comfortable in. I try looking and all these places are like “thong! Thong! Thong!” Undergarments definitely matter! I will not be wearing a thong because for me they are not comfortable.

    Wow that really does give your dress a much better shape!

    I ended up ditching my bra during the reception lol. I never tried my dress on without a strapless bra...came to find out it literally did nothing for me ha. My biggest regret is not trying on the dress without it. Coulda save me $80 oops. You never know till you try it all on with and without!

    Thank you for this post!! I hadn't even considered a petticoat for my dress, I just ordered one!! I hope that it works, but thankfully it wasn't super expensive so if it doesn't it's not a huge deal...

    That's awesome! I just ordered mine from JJs House for $15, but had to expedite shipping since my wedding is two weeks away. Still under $30!!
