Undergarments for the bride!

Megan, on August 9, 2019 at 2:46 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10
Hi ladies! Can anyone tell me if the sticky bras are even useful? My gown is a bit more shear on the top part of the gown, so straps are a no go.. I’ve never used the sticky bras and if they do work can anyone recommend a brand to go with! (In the picture above I had to order a size slightly bigger, this one was the tighter one.. so the girls are a bit more out😅) but when trying on the dress they had me wear a strapless, plunging corset that was white and from the back you could see it so that why I’m trying to see if maybe the sticky bras would work better for me.. maybe I can get some input from anyone, that’d be very helpful! I almost forgot to mention that the dress has built in cups, they’re a bit noticeable in the image. So as much as I can, I’d like to not add too much in that area to add more attention and throw off the whole look.. thank you in advance to anyone who responds!

Stick bras work by having a tie in the middle, It'd go right in the center of that neckline and be visible. So I doubt any type of sticky bra would work.
Can the seamstress sew cups in the dress? It looks good already, and built in cups are easier to manage

They sell one that has a plunge instead of the strings or clips that some have. Here’s the link to one from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/MITALOO-Strapless-Adhesive-Invisible-Backless/dp/B07S99WPHY/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=backless+bra&qid=1565352542&s=gateway&sprefix=backless&sr=8-3

Try to see if the seamstress can add cups when you in for alterations. otherwise, i think your boobs look great and you might not even need any bra at all!

I felt like my strapless/backless sticky bra was definitely helpful at keeping everything in place (C-D cup), but it did take me probably 6-7 attempts at re-situating it before everything was symmetrical and adjusted properly!

The only potential issue might be how low the neckline is - I had a clear clasp just barely visible there in a few of my photos from one specific angle, so that might be something to check out ahead of time. If nothing else, you could try just nude pasties since the dress has built-in cups? I'd imagine the proper size will help, too. Smiley smile

I wouldn't do the stick on bra, buy some boob tape and try it out before your big day to see how it works.

    Good luck!

I'm trying brassy bra for my sheer top. Waiting to try it until my gown comes in.

I'd recommend for your sewn in cups that you find a shade darker that matches your skin better. That will make them less noticeable.

Talk to your seamstress about adding the needed support in. Otherwise anything else will show. (I have this dress and this is what she told me)

I’m just over here wanting to see more pics of that GORGEOUS DRESS! I think it looks great as is! In my personal experience my boobs were too heavy anytime I tried to use a sticky bra. I think it depends person to person so I would test run a few!
