I too have have backless dress with a deep V mermaid top and lace bodice. I can't wear any undergarments with mine. I have boob tape and panties from Spanx with tummy control. They have them in full coverage, cheeky and thong I believe.

As far as underwear I’ve heard from previous brides that the trick is to not wear any cause it makes peeing easier lol I have an A line with not too many layers, so I feel like it won’t be so bad, but if you insist on wearing some, I got a seamless thong from Target, but they have multiple cuts. For a bra there is boob tape and sticky bras that you can wear. I’ve worn sticky bras before and they work great, but can become a little less sticky in some parts if you get real sweaty, but I’ve never sweat one off. My top is deep V with sheer back, so I’m either going the nipple cover route or with nothing depending on how much you can see when I bend any which way. Especially if the seamstress is adding cups already, there may not even be a need for anything.

I am not going to wear anything on top, because the dress will have a thin cup, and will be altered snug on me.

However, I am still wondering what panty to wear, because the sides on the waist are kind of transparent. When I tried it on at the 1st alteration appointment I wore a black seamless panty, and I was shocked how much it shown. I even can see the line where my panty was 🙄
No panty was on my mind, but I can’t. I will be “wet”, especially on my fertile days, which would be exactly a day before my wedding date. So, I will have to try around a few panties and even have to add panty liner 😔

I think seen in cups may be your best bet. Maybe adding some boob tape or one of the sticky bras if you need extra coverage. With the way the lace is at the bottom, I think you may have to go commando unless you can find underwear that has sides that go that low. Beautiful dress, but I can see where the undergarment situation is a bit of a head scratcher.

I go without underwear most of them times when I run for chafing reasons, but I did not realize it was a thing to do with wedding gowns.

My gown has a low back, but it’s not completely backless so I have a corset bra that swoops low on the back and connects low just under my wedding dress. I’m wearing an underskirt that smooths my belly but doesn’t suck it in too much and then flairs out. I’ll be honest, I’m pretty sure I’ll need help going to the bathroom.

My dress had an illusion back and sat lower on my back. The shop I purchased the dress suggested that I wear a color that didn’t show through the dress. I bought seamless underwear in a variety of shades from nude to a Luther roses pink to white and saw what was not noticeable at my fittings. I had them add cups to my dress since I wasn’t able to wear a bra.

This is very similar to mine! The design on the waist and sides are exactly the same. So, yeah... sewn in cups are our best bet. My seamstress said she would make the upper part as tight, so I won’t need anything to push my girls together. She has a good review doing her magic thing 😉

But running shorts has lose lining inside, which I love! But wearing a dress without wearing panty, especially a white one.... How would you manage the.... you know.... it won’t be dry all day. I would be terrified if there is a wet stain on my back after I sat on it 🙈

Not all of them do, and often I cut those out too because of chafing.

One though with that though, having you considered menstrual cups like diva cup or Meluna? I absolutely love mine. It would be pricey to just use it for that one day, but it was a totally game changer for me period-wise. And it would definitely help with that time too.

How does it feels? How long can you leave it in there? I assume it requires practice before using it in the big day 🤔 Is it easy to take it out?

I wanna say they say not to leave it in more than 8 hours (that would be for a take out and clean and put it back), but I’ve gone 24 hrs before because I forgot about. That’s how much I don’t feel it. But yes it takes practice because sometimes I don’t put it in as correctly and I can feel it (also that feeling is sometimes just due to the normal bloating as well, makes me more sensitive to the cup being there.

Meluna has different endings available. The stem option is the easiest to Yale put, but I have a ring one now and it’s pretty simple to, really just a grab and pull, but if the suction is too strong just pinch it a little.

My dress was a fit and flare and backless. I wore no bra and had my seamstress sew cups in. For my bottoms, I just wore a thong. That was it, super simple.

I would say to try a menstrual cup. You can get them on amazon or at target, cause it would catch anything that trying to come out of there lol. Or you could do a nude seamless panty but just make sure it blends. I know that there’s adhesive underwear also, so you can check that out to see if it’d work for you

Try thebridalbra.com. I ordered it but haven’t received it yet. I hope it works.
