Undergarments for Allure Dress

Renee B, on February 12, 2017 at 11:12 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

I'm wearing the Allure 9252 dress for my wedding and I have no idea of what kind of strapless bra I should wear. I can't go braless because I'm top heavy and need the support. The back and sides of the dress are sheer and beaded. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

You may not be able to wear a bra. You may have to have cups sewn in to dress. My seamstress says she generally makes the top pretty tight so it holds you in there with cups.

I'm wearing allure 9254. I've decided to wear nude as the dress is lace.. the color is ivory/champagne. Suggest going to bridal store and getting their opinion may help.

I just googled that style number. I honestly think your only option is to get cups sewn in. Anything else will definitely show through.

I agree with the cups sewn into the dress! Probably your best option!

I almost got that dress, it was my first favorite until I found another that worked even better. The dress I went with is similar and the seamstress on-site during my bridal appointment of course recommended going bra-less, but also indicated they can add cups to the dress that would offer support. I'm a bit skeptical on this matter, but I have a nude colored strapless bra to use if I feel I need it. I'm likely just going to go bra-less.

Only thing I'm trying to figure out with this Allure dress is which underwear to wear. The seamstress recommended going commando, but with my wedding being near the date for my period, that is out of the question. Sorry if that is TMI.

There are plenty of busty ladies here that were able to go braless with cups sewn in, so it is definitely a possibility!

Hello can I ask what underwear you ended up wearing? I have a similar dress and I don’t know what to wear. And going Comando is a no for me as well.
