Underage bridesmaids

Amber, on August 19, 2017 at 11:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

What is the best way to plan a bachelorette party when 2/5 of my bridesmaids are under 21? I want to be able to do something that includes everyone and we'll all have fun, but I also want to party it up... my first thought is doing something with everyone earlier in the evening and then doing something 21+ later in the evening... thoughts?

Do a spa day! I wouldn't try and do a separate thing later, though. If I were one of your underage BMs I'd be kinda offended. You can drink any time, a bachelorette doesn't require it.

ETA: You shouldn't be planning your own party. Let those who offered take care of it.

I don't know if this will help, but 2 of my girls, plus the flower girl, are all under drinking age. So what we're doing is having a semi joint party with the guys on a camping trip. My MOH hasn't gotten into the details yet, but we're basically having drinks for the adults in the evening while we camp and we do something all-age friendly during the day (except the guys can go off and do whatever, the girls and I have no problems taking a 7 year old out with us). Should be a weekend trip, and it'll be a lot of fun since we all consider each other family (blood and non-blood)

1: Don't plan your own bachelorette party.

2: There's lots of group activities you can do, such as an escape room, laser tag, wine and paint (minus the wine for under 21), etc.

3: I think it's kind of rude to do a separate thing with only some of your bridal party.

I don't know if we'd be able to do a spa day (money wise) just because the majority of us are still in school. My MOH is planning everything but she's making sure she does exactly what I want. And we're running kind of short notice too because I'm also trying to plan around a week that my sister will be in town other than the day before my wedding. My MOH was looking into doing a VIP bowling thing for everyone

Do whatever you want earlier in the evening, then go out drinking later. The underage bridesmaids are not going to be expecting that you take them drinking.

I would do something that all the girls can participate in. but your MOH should be planning it all out, it shouldn't be a stress on you

How underage are they? If they're 18+, they can still go out with you, they just can't drink. No harm in them tagging along.
