I'm wearing yoga shorts

I don't think it's necessarily bad but there are other ways to prevent chaffing if that's what you're talking about. I use powder deodorant to help, and they end up helping more for me because the bike/yoga shorts I have tend to ride up after a while.

I'm planning on getting under summers which is a short made especially for chafing.

Body glide my friend. powder helps but they make products especially for chaffing. * i am also a member of the thunder thighs troupe

Get the 7" compression shorts and they shouldn't ride up on you. The 5" and 3" would be too short to do any good. I used to sell cars and any day I wore a dress, I wore shorts under it to keep the goods from showing when I was getting in and out of coupes and lifted trucks and I never had a problem. I now wear them under dresses to keep my thighs from sticking together when it's hot.

I wear spanx-ish type shorts. They're not really spanx but they are seamless spandex shorts so I can wear them under dresses and you can't tell!

I know many women who wear spanx under their wedding dresses so I don't think it would be weird at all.

I sometimes wear shorts under dresses, too, so I don't find it strange at all! I'd definitely recommend a dry run during a fitting, though, to make sure the color won't show through, and you won't be able to see the outline, although that shouldn't be a problem with a ballgown.

Walmart sells skirt shorts that are perfect for this. I plan to wear a pair Saturday under my dress.

I agree with PP's about Spanx shorts, but for if you're not looking for the slimming/compression effect, American Apparel makes great bicycle shorts that I wear under sun dresses all the time.

Do whatever makes you comfortable. No bride should be fidgety, picking, or uncomfortable. My thighs are best friends. I use body glide because they like to stick together, and that is what I've found to work.

@amanda I have these perfect yoga shorts but they have a small butt zipper which I think will be ok. I have had all my fittings since my wedding is in a week!!!!!! These yoga shorts never ride up and I know will be perfect.

I thought about using deodorant but I worry that after pictures and a ceremony outside I will regret no shorts.

Someone suggested body glide on this forum a few weeks ago. Got some for my cruise so I could wear dressed (got compression shorts just in case) and Bodyglide is magic!
