Under eye concealer for pale skin?

Moira, on July 5, 2020 at 10:59 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 10
Hi brides!
I don’t usually wear makeup and am planning to do my own natural-looking makeup for my wedding in September. I have red hair, blue eyes, and pale, pink-toned skin. I also have blue-hued circles under my eyes. Any recommendations on products, particularly an under-eye concealer? Thanks!!

Clinique all about eyes concealer! I use it faithfully for my dark circles. Needs to be blended well but works amazing! I also use with the all about eyes cream, helps blend it.

I really like tarte shape tape for concealer, but I’m not sure how light their shades go. I know my best friend has issues finding concealer and foundations to match her because she’s very pale- I could ask her what she uses.
I’m doing my own hair and makeup too and wanted to do false lashes (mainly for pictures) but I’m truly AWFUL at applying them, at least until I found Silly George’s LinerBond. I highly recommend trying it out if you want something to give you a little bit extra while still looking pretty natural. I tried lash glue and magnetic previously, but never really got the hang of lash glue and didn’t like the thick line required for magnetic liner and the lashes always felt heavy.
    Good luck!

It’s better to color correct the area under your eyes first, that way you don’t need heavy concealer. Use a very light peachy color corrector in a small amount with a light hand, gradually stippling on small amounts until the blue under your eyes is neutralized. After color correcting, you can just use your cream or liquid foundation lightly under your eyes and gradually build it up (but not too much) Then lightly set it with a setting powder. As always, for best results, use quality professional makeup brands and brushes

Mary kay has a great undereye corrector and a perfecting concealer! I'm slightly biased because I'm a beauty consultant...but one of the reasons I am is because I loved those products so much!

I would say definitely apply a color correction. You said you're fair skinned with blue hued undereye circles, just an apricot or pink color correction. Peach could work too but you might be too fair skinned. Then Tarte's Shape Tape concealer in your skin tone after your foundation will give you an even coverage
