Super August 2022

Undecided

I am torn on what to do about a dress. I have 13.5 months to go and I go try on dresses for a first time in in 6 weeks. Just to get an idea of what I like.

I am torn between getting an actual wedding dress or a beautiful dress that I can wear more than once.

What would you do?

    That’s a personal decision.

I want to wedding dress that’s designated for the wedding. I’m not interested in trying to wear it again somewhere.

It’s definitely a decision only you can make. I originally wanted a dress I thought I could wear again because it was a second wedding but then because it was my husbands first wedding I felt I needed to wear a wedding dress. In addition I wanted to make sure I stood out at the bride and not just a guest. You will figure it out. Go try in a variety of dresses. They have lots of wedding dresses that are more simple now. I didn’t have a train or any of that so shop around. Good luck!!

You have plenty of time. Just make sure to try on every style. You may end up with something that you never expected. I was adamant that I did not want a ballgown. They begged me to try one on. I did, and it happened to be the one I picked. Good Luck

Don't worry about it! when you go in you can just try on lots of styles. It's a learning process. But try looking around on Pinterest to see what catches your eye.
