Has anyone ordered either the engagement ring or wedding band (yours or FH) from one of those websites like modern gents? They have really pretty rings for very good prices. I am not the kind of person who needs a real gold band with a real diamond, my engagement ring was fairly inexpensive as it is an amethyst stone and sterling silver. I don’t mind waiting a few years until I can afford something really nice, I’m just looking for anyone who ordered from a website like this and is really happy with the product. TYIA

We got my husband’s band off of Etsy and it’s perfect! I think reading reviews and googling “negative reviews” for wherever you consider is super important. My set originally came from Allurez and was not super inexpensive, but was so cheaply made that the wedding band bent in half when we took it out of the box. My husband hadn’t looked at many reviews and just went with the style he liked, so we learned our lesson!

We ordered my fiancé’s wedding band from manly bands and it came with a free silicon ring when we ordered which is perfect since he’s not allowed to wear his real one on the job.

We got my engagement ring from Etsy, it’s alexandrite because I’m not a fan of diamonds. There are tons of affordable options and you can always check reviews of the sellers and products.
I definitely recommend doing research before buying from any online retailer. I’ve seen ads for modern gents, but FH picked a tungsten band he likes on Amazon (it’s like $45 I think) so I didn’t really look into it.

I got a temp ring off of Modern Gents while my ring was getting resized! You can tell that some of the bigger diamonds are fake, but the smaller diamonds and the bands you couldn't tell the difference. My mom actually got really confused and asked where we got a second diamond when I sent her a picture.

The first engagement rings my FH got it for me and then it got dirty and it blended so I went to zales and I got me a engagement ring and band and I already bought his last year but overall good price and shipping was fast ❤️

We got my engagement ring off Etsy. We used a reputable seller with MANY reviews, and I love it!
Just make sure you're working with someone with clear business practices.

My FH got my ring on Modern Gents and I’m so happy with it. I’m not a materialistic girl and couldn’t fathom spending thousands on a ring. He got the “Sofia” which was perfect for me. It’s petite, not too flashy and everyone who has noticed thinks it’s real! We’re planning on ordering our bands from them as well! Would definitely recommend if you don’t want /can’t afford to spend a lot of money.
