Uncle- niece dance

Maybe you should share the song between them, whoever you decide to have dance with you. Two or three spotlight dances might be too long for people.

My advice is to avoid decisions that don't feel authentic. You don't owe your Dad anything, and actions have consequences. If you feel better not having that dance, then don't have it. I hope everything goes great for you.

My opinion is I think you should do a dance with your dad! He came into your life, albeit very late, but it sounds like he’s trying and wants to be a better dad to you. We can’t change the past, but seems like he is trying to make it up to you.



I would do a 1.5 minute dance with your uncle, have your dad “cut in” and dance with you for another 1.5 minutes. Then, have your mom cut in and dance for another 1.5 minutes. If this is something you are considering you can tell your band your plan and if they have any ideas for how to split up the music. Your MC can make an announcements for when it’s time for each person to cut in.

Since he is walking you down the aslie half way but he would feel left out and hurt you should do a dance with him. See you are lucky that you have 2 men in your life that will be with you on that big special day. I dont have that my father is no longer living and the other man that I had in my life we no longer speak since my grandmother passing last year. So the only men left are my sons 2 may not be able to but I still have 1 that I can dance other than my FH. So please give him one thank you
